Many people are prepping for this falls trend madness. After fashion week, crazed partys & cocktail events the inspirational imagery that will flood blogs and websites will be uncontrollable . With this said fashion brand, Chloé has started the Fall off very strong. Most exciting is their follow up line for their See collection. One item in particular is a luxurious  boot similar to Ralph Lauren‘s Brennen winter boot mixed with the RL Ranger boot which recently had a resurgence in the marketplace . This is perhaps one of my favorite boots from Chloe’s upcoming fall season. The boot is black, suede, lux leather which they offered seasonally but have redesigned. This falls boot is a military-inspired boot with a heel that measures approximately 25 mm/ 1 inch. With this boot your sure to be hovering over guests, friends, party goers or even the inpatient créme de la créme at this falls fashion shows. See by Chloé provides plenty of new embellishments, golds, silvers and an array of buckle closures with awesome little details. The nice thing about this suede boot is the velvet laced detail through the toes and ankles. This Badass boot is studded through the toe and tongue. The boot is finished off with a lucidly placed embossed logo at the back panel.

After recently collaborating with artist Mathew Ritchie and showing at fashion week, ThreeAsFour showcases images from their backstage fashion show. These images are great just because of their candid  and simple. They almost look as though they were photographed in the sixties.

Here’s a Fall winter collection that i was naturally Infashuated by. The collection was designed by Designer Marc Bouwer. Marc Bouwer’s long history with sports glamor wear and designer Roy Halston are what drew me to his work. His current FW11 collection, still theatrical in the execution, embarks on some very refined and elegant details that are more wearable then a lot of previous Marc Bauwer collections. Marc Bauwer knows how to create stunning attire that is on the edge but not over. This is very evident in this collection. I could envision any of Marc’s previous red carpet stars (Beyonce, Halle berry, Heidi Klum, Petra Némcovå)  in his FW11 collection.

My favorite piece in particular would have to be…the bejeweled black cotail dress with exaggerated shoulders. Marc’s very exagerated fairy like shoulder details or butterfly like sleeve constructions add a level of playfulness with out being overtly excessive and cluttered. The Most interesting and understated detail in this garment is the buttons that illude to polka-dots. In his FW collection, Marc Bauwer makes it very clear that understated details can be just as significant as the frill and flounce one see in an instance.

Marc Bauwer has not only created a very marketable direction for his fall winter collection, he created a amazing and smart strategy to market his collection as well. The designer shot a virtually runway show staring South african model Candice Swanepoel. The video looks like a outer space catwalk. Model Candice Swanepoel walks this outer space platform wearing each piece from Bauwers collection as she passes her self back. Candice Swanepoel must time her steps as the video over laps her catwalking to imply she is walking the catwalk with multiple models. While showing off different garments Bauwer’s video plays to a very house, upbeat disco-soul track. He then utilized youtube as a platform to release the video to the world wide web. Marc Bauwer claimed that the film was created with $20,000 dollars, which is a lot less then the $200,000 that designer spend to show in Bryant Park every year.

Here is another installment of whimsical and fun shoes by Anastasia Radevich. Having viewed her work seasonally, Im pretty ecstatic about the evolution of Anastasia Radevich’s shoe collection for 2011. Anastasia’s attention to detail is very evident in each pair of heels. In her 2011 collection, Anastasia Radevichs play on heel details have shifted and gone to even thinner widths. The motion and energy that is captured in the heel of each shoe is remarkable. This collection shows maturation and lot of time. Designers always fight hard to constantly reinvent them selfs. Doing this season after season can be gruesome. Anastasia Radevich creates little nuances in a sophisticated way while still infusing her sense of futuristic fun. Footwear should always be different and fun. The great part about this collection is Anastasia Radevich has stayed true to her previous works while surely expanding and developing her concepts for women’s footwear.

One of my favorite brands, Céline by Phoebe Philo fall/winter 2010 is filled with great outerwear detais and knit variations that are tactile and textured for this fall. The knit dresses and sweaters are just right for this coming fall. They are very nostalgic yet very modern. The Intarsia’d knits proved to be a very timely but rewarding process for Céline. One of my favorite looks from Céline would have to be, the high waisted black slacks with the popular cable knit/ intarsia’d sweater. The look was so french, classic and she she la la. After seeing the whole collection, this style felt the most natural and likely to be emulated.

The evocative intarsia’d Rose Royce like car with Céline plates on the cable knit was by far the strongest and most memorable detail. To choose such a static image like that, speaks volumes about Phoebe Philo’s intentions for Céline.The brand is pushing refined, simplistic and tailored womens wear to another level. Pairing the sweater with a modified high waisted trouser is a great follow up to last years, high-waist canvas trouser that was so popular. This look felt vintage and the styling was new. This is something Phoebe Philo has brought to Céline seasonally. A little bit of old mixed with new, can go along way. After seeing the first season from Phoebe Philo, I immediately thought of the influential life of people like Chanel and Yves saint Laurent. Céline is setting yet another winter of trends with their fall/winter collection. By being seasonally consistence the Céline House may have a promising place, in the fashion ranks.

Though I have been Infashuated in prior post regarding nails, this takes the cake. These fun, quirky, and outrageous nails are gaining momentum in Tokyo, Japan and maybe even worldwide. Brands or salons like Don Quixote, Dashing Diva, and China Glaze specialize in the nail industry and are changing the way people view DIY nail art and suppy. Nail deco kits are everywhere in Japan and the explosion of nail art has stirred up other areas of design. This phenomenon has influenced the new market for hand accessories ordinarily taken for granted, such as bottle openers, shampoo brushes for your hands (to protect you nails), and even fashionable nail exposed gloves.

The Japanese have taken nail art, decorative enamel finishing, and 3-D hand painted details to another plateau. It won’t be much longer until it’s big in the States (though I am a bit skeptical about this, anything is possible in fashion). Trends come from just about everywhere nowadays. And you will be happy to know, the gel appliques used in these images are all-natural, non-toxic, and completely safe. The nails last for about two weeks and much of my infashuation with these nail images come from how certain trends take flight, culture-wise.

Japanese nail art and preening activities are deeply-rooted in the culture. Brazen details are the norm in Japanese culture. On the nails of many nail divas in Japan, you may find anything from sparkles, stones, glitter, to awaii (cute) 3-D Hello Kitty charms and patterns. Japan is cute-central when it comes to pop culture, which all become quite mainstream in a matter of days. Disney, Pixar, Sanrio, and anime/manga are targeting younger audiences, but have also given rise to an older Mickey Mouse, Hello Kitty, Bathing Ape, and Nego-loving generation in Japan. This is the very beginning of a hot-topic and may even become a chance for this local influence to infiltrate the rest of the world. This reminds me of bubble tea. I know, I know—but the thought of stopping for a tapioca bubble drink about 5 or 10 years ago seemed ludicrous to the average American—why not with this nail art. Remember where you read it first!

After showcasing his Fall 2010 runway collection in Paris, where voluptuous women became the spotlight, Marc Jacobs is stirring yet another inception. He has casted models with ages ranging three decades for his Louis Vuitton advertisements this fall. It is clear that Jacobs is trying to not only expand his sizes, but also his audiences’ age bracket. This is another example of Jacobs’ ability to dominate the market as well as fill voids within the fashion industry.

Here is the fall campaign for Louis Vuitton. The shoot is a nod to the1950′s and the images are set inside backstage dressing rooms. Christy Turlington, Natalia Vodianova, and musician/model, Karen Elson (all models that range between ages 20 and 40), each own their personal ambience in these photographs. The glow from the yellow lighting, next to the youthful elegance of each model, gives off a very cinematic and socko appearance. Moreover, the accessories and attire worn in this shoot were styled perfectly. Though many of the details and printing techiniques are very modern, the color and styling help to evoke a retrograde appeal. The shoot was shot by Steven Meisel and the incredible styling was done by Karl Templer. These images are sure to be in tremendous circulation this fall.
