A few days ago designer Alexander Wang presented his women’s RTW Spring Summer collection, which featured a plethora of different knits, sporty textures and futuristic cut lines. What I love most has to be the usage of color and variation between different knit structures. Wang’s clothing is sensible comfortable and wear that one can have for years to come. The collection was assortments of street wear, city culture, motorcycling, and military details. The sheer fabrications and engineered knits fused with floral patterns and bursts of color really speaks to wear things are heading for sports wear. I think Wang understands that sports wear needs to continue evolving. The sport industry is starting to form seamless ties with life style product. People everywhere want to be ready for almost anything. Over all, a very informative collection.
